It's common knowledge among Valley film fans that Jayne Mansfield, one of the biggest stars of the 1950s and early 1960s, spent a big chunk of her childhood in Pen Argyl, the Northampton County town with a population of about 3,500.

I’ve felt it, I’m sure you’ve felt it, Maverick and Goose felt it, even your great aunt Tilly felt it! That thing that happens when you get behind the wheel of a powerful car, rev the engine, and see a clear road in front of you. That desire that burns deep inside all of us to just floor the sucker and let loose every horse power we have on the highway. And so it is with “Need For Speed”. The interesting thing is it happens not only to the characters who do let it all out on the screen, but they make you feel like being right there with them, or better yet, racing against them.

Auto Racing takes center stage with a duel of wits, willpower and pride in the film Rush.  The film takes its audience up close while two men vie for the top prize and fame in a sport that captivates with its test of endurance and agility.  The direction by Ron Howard of this documentary feel true story makes the theme work in spite of its lack of a ‘Hollywood’ plot and featuring generally unknown sports figures. How to display public library digital movies on your TV via Hoopla

I have Roku to stream from my computer to my TV. I am interested in the new Salt Lake County Library movie streaming service through Hoopla but don’t know if it will work with Roku. I find that most of the movies I want to stream are not available for streaming on Netflix, and I refuse to add a DVD subscription as I may only watch one movie a month, if that.
