Would they just take it and live in an environment that might make them feel unwanted or maybe even shammed. Now with all these mixed feelings going on, should they just declare war on this invader, even if it is their Grandpa? Read more…

Review by John Delia

For my drama/romance film buffs and everyone who likes a scrumptious story brought to the screen, check out Summerland in select movie theaters, VOD and other Digital Platforms. The film plays out like reading a good book that you just can’t put down. Sometimes taut with drama, other scenes sublime and involving, the film has extremely good acting and direction to evolve the characters within the storyline. Read more…

Review by Susan Phillips

Before modern day in the land of mermaids, unicorns, fairies and centaurs, wizards used magic to help them in their day-to-day life. But learning magic was difficult, and as time flew by with the invention of more modern luxuries, the ways of the wizard slowly disappeared. Instead of using a spell to add light to a room it was now easier to flip a switch and have a light bulb turn on. Now in current times however, the brothers Ian and Barley Lightfoot discover that magic still exists and they can use it to make a dream come true in Onward. Read more…

Exciting, adventurous, heartwarming, compelling and most of all finding dad in all of us, Disney/PIXAR crushes it again with Onward. It’s a tribute to fathers and brothers who have to take the role of the matriarch in the household everywhere. Growing up is hard enough, but with the absence of a father figure it makes it even more difficult. The story here shows how one fatherless family finds a way to bring hope, faith and trust in oneself even during the darkest times. Read more…

Review by John Delia

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil brings a powerhouse of Disney magic that will astound and delight everyone even on their home screens. Filled with so many characters that you will want to stop and count them as they fly by and even freeze frame them to get a better look. The direction is incredible keeping the main actors in character as they work in front of the stage screens. It’s the kind of wonderment that boggles the mind, especially with the opening scenes and later during the battle. Youngsters will enjoy the film and want to see it over and over again. Parents will marvel at the storyline that stretches the imagination beyond the first Maleficent movie. Whether it’s on 4k, Blu-ray or even DVD, the film is seamless and clear. Read more…
