Highly Recommended For this reviewer, watching Woody Allen’s Manhattan (1979) on Blu-ray was a curious viewing experience. I’d seen it when it was new, while I was in high school. Recommended THE FILM: Please Note: The screen captures used here are taken from the 2003 standard-definition DVD edition , not the Blu-ray edition under review. It’s strange to be speaking of Adaptation in the past tense; I vividly remember rushing right out to see it upon its release nearly a decade ago.
