Bittersweet, the film Golden Voices tells the story of a 62 year old Jewish Russian couple Victor (Vladimir Friedman) and Raya Frenkel (Maria Belkin) that relocates to Israel in the 1980’s following the dissolving of the USSR. Famous for their voice dubbing of movie films in Russian, the two find it difficult to find similar work in a country that speaks mainly Hebrew. Adding to that, Israel’s neighboring countries are still at war with them and not accepting their independent status. Read more…

Not all films about bulling hit the nail on the head, but Butter has the ingredients to reach out to the audience most affected by the social aggressors. Nicely acted, this heartfelt story shows even the intelligent and talented are subjects of the unkindness. Do you like a mystery film with a lot of twists and turns? For those who enjoy trying to crack a case before it’s all played out on the screen there’s Last Looks with a storyline that’s great for guessing right up to the exciting finale. The story is played out by some very good actors that meld into their characters extremely well and put on a good show.  Strike Back Studios has acquired the engaging buddy comedy thriller “I, Challenger” after the film’s successful premiere at the Portland Film Festival in October 2021. The feature film is directed by Paul Boyd which is his third feature directing project. Boyd is best known as an acclaimed music video director having worked with Sting, Seal, Tina Turner, Mick Jagger, Celine Dion, Lenny Kravitz, and Shania Twain. The film is planned for a TVOD/Digital platform release in the United States and Canada beginning on January 11th , 2022. “I, Challenger” is a cinematic sibling to the best of the stoner buddy comedies in the vein of the franchises from Seth Rogen and Cheech & Chong.
