“MR. JONES” Historical and Disturbing

Very enlightening and interesting, the movie Mr. Jones brings you back to sometime before the Germans invaded Russia taking them into WWII. The film gets deeply into Russian problems of feeding their country since the Communist run Parliament took over. It also involves Stalin’s draining the Ukraine of all their grain in order to feed the Russian people. It’s about the worst of time and the even darker times of being a vulnerable nation on the brink of war. Read more…

“THE BANKER” Transforming America

An interesting view of segregation and discrimination, the film The Banker opens this weekend. The acting superb, direction pin point and the story line one of the better this year. It’s a part of history where bold chances by the black community paid off leading to an era of change for the better. Take a chance on this one and you will be astounded by its compelling look into those that gave their all to start a transformation in America. Read more…
