KUCHING, May 6 (Bernama) — Hollywood movies which portray Borneo as an island rich in miracle medicinal plants may impress flora hunters to make a bee-line, observed a Sarawak Barisan Nasional (BN) backbencher.
Many of the Oscar-nominated movies that aren’t playing in theaters anymore can still be seen by movie fans who don’t mind buying DVDs and Blu-ray films – or who are in the practice of renting and buying digital movies from online services such as Amazon Video on Demand, iTunes and Google Play.
SHAH ALAM, Dec 30 (Bernama) — A total of 1.19 million DVD movies without B certificates worth RM33.1 million and 3,468 DVD porn movies worth RM520,200 were seized by the Film Censorship Control and Enforcement Division and the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) Selangor branch through 946 raids this year, said its director Noor Aziah Abdullah.
