Something for the youngsters over 4, Stardog and Turbocat, an animated film that deals with animal kindness to animals, is now available on VOD and Digital platforms. The story may be an old one, but this approach on delivering the message makes it an adventure that young people can understand. Moms and Dads should watch the film along with the very young so they can explain the significance, but all the adventure should be easily recognizable. Read more…

Based on the original screen play of 1964, its sequel continues with the same style, but goes beyond the animation, imagination, and magical wonders that these characters provide. It continues where we left off back in the day and goes even further into the character’s lives with an amazing musical adventure. Mary Poppins Returns is perfect for families and those who remember seeing the film when they were young. Now available on Blu-ray, DVD, 4K and Ultra Blu-ray. Read more…

About six years ago Disney Studios released a powerful new character from a video game and Wreck It Ralph was born into Animation forever. Wow, that sounds like an introduction to a biography of the building wrecker who became a hero to another video game star Vanellope. She’s the car racing icon of the game “Sugar Rush”. I just thought it would be a good way to begin my review on Ralph’s newest film Ralph Breaks the Internet, a fun animated movie for the whole family now on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD. Read more…

Offbeat, heavy-handed characters, bleak outcast situations, and moody, it’s a marvelous adventure for those who like Wes Anderson movies. This one however shows his range with an animated film that’s worthy of most Japanese greats. From the opening drum introduction of Isle of Dogs to the heartfelt finale, Anderson captures a cold disturbing environment from which his characters can rise up. If you like offbeat stories produced in stop motion animation in the vein of Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride and Frankenweenie then this film should not be missed. Read more…
