If you thought the other two The King’s Man movies were good, it’s time to see the prequel. The film will make your head spin, not only because it’s in 4K home entertainment, but the action is relentless and during it we get to know how the special ops unit all began. Amazing cinematography, special effects and action throughout should blow you away, even in your living room. Some might have said that this prequel should not have been make, but that said this origin story works just as well a standalone. If you want thrills, interesting historical drama and non-stop adventure this film is your cup of British Tea. Read more…

A story of revenge, freedom from evil and a fight for existence, the animated action adventure film The Spine of Night is now available for home viewing in several formats including 4K. The fantasy level is pretty high here, but most followers of animated mysticism will eat it up. However be cautioned that the film does have an abundance of killing with visuals that are not for the meek. A quote from Gizmodo’s io9 sums it all up “One of the Sickest, Coolest, most Mind-Bending Animated films we’ve ever seen” Read more…

Although you do not have to watch the original Ice Age film that came out in 2001, the spinoff The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild will probably be a good time to introduce your youngsters to the several sequels that started it all. This episode is filled with laughter and exciting adventure for the target audience of early youth to ten years old. I like the way they introduced the new characters and that they kept the series on a level that should not be too disturbing to the very young. Read more…

A pretty cool concept the Sci-fi Adventure G-LOC takes you into space with an astronaut stuck in his damaged space craft. The storyline is original, the acting very good and the direction by Tom Paton who helmed the film Black Ops makes it exciting. If you like space adventures that are out of the ordinary, then check this one out on DVD, VOD or Digital. Read more…

A screwy little film with some intermittent tongue in cheek laughs, Easy Does It attempts to revive the road show flick audience, but it doesn’t have all the right stuff. The script’s hackneyed with the same old goofs, the acting needs an upgrade, and the sets/locations ordinary. That said however, it you have nothing more on TV to watch, it’s a pretty good filler. You may have to have a few and some chips before turning it on.
