Based on true events that took place in December of 1985, in the northern Georgia mountains, this violent comedy, established on a drug drop gone bad, will in a funny way, get a look at what a bear can do that is exposed to its contents. Taken place in the Chattahoochee National Forest on Blood Mountain, named from the bloody battle between the Creeks and Cherokee, sets an eerie place to experience this thriller. Read more…

Every now and then we come across a documentary that offers a reason to dedicate more than just a mention of the film. This is the case for “Path of the Panther”, a tightly wound film that presents a look at one of America’s endangered animals that still exists in the wild. The Florida Panther, one of the biggest cats in the world, roams South and Central Florida mostly in the famous Florida Everglades. The frontier for the huge cat has existed for many years in Florida and the population grew to nearly 180. According to bigcatrescue.org, there may be a population even greater than that number. The most devastating war, which involved the killing atrocities by an egomaniac, was FILMMAKERS Adolph Hitler’s World War II. So diabolical, he even had his slaughters filmed. What was he going to do with his movie reels of emaciated, starved, beaten and murdered victims had he lived through his demented dream? Little did he know, that it would be those films that would be the evidence needed to convict his loyal followers, the German Nazi leaders of The Third Reich. Read more…

Very cringing, the film Plan A enters theaters with a story based on a true incident that took place in Germany at the end of WWII. Nicely filmed and produced, the movie is gripping and mesmerizing. It’s so maddening that it’s hard to take sides for forgiveness or revenge. The acting is extremely good, direction impeccable, and production value realistic. Read more…

Teen worthy and charming, the film Rosaline gets released on HULU. It’s Romeo and Juliet with a new spin that includes a jilted lover. The acting is pretty good and the storyline not anything to write an essay on for high school, but it’s still entertainment that’s family friendly. Read more…

Nicely done, the horror comedy film Werewolf by Night takes you into the lair of monsters that roam the darkness. Most werewolf stories prefer foggy places or forests where they lay waste to their victims. But this silly little gem takes you into the inner sanctum of the hunters who rid realms from the hairy daemons. Played out mostly in black and white for the effects of what the darkness will bring, the film only adds color when it’s totally necessary. Oh, and although it’s played through the streaming service of Disney+, the Marvel Studios brand makes it a bit more frightening for older teens to twenties. Read more…

Inspirational and compelling, the film Young Plato carries the genre Documentary, but it plays out like a drama with a lot of heart. For many years Ireland has always had problems between the North and the South due to disagreements as to which part rules the country. In the middle of the conflict that has left an aura of dislike among the Catholics and Protestants, are the children that have to deal with it day after day. In their neighborhoods, although the armed conflict ended years ago, you can still see the remnants of the battles between the two factions. Read more…
