BLOCKBUSTER STORES ACROSS THE COUNTRY WILL GIVE FANS A CHANCE TO CELEBRATE THE RELEASE OF THE WILDLY POPULAR FILM WITH LOCAL FESTIVITIES
What: Fans who pre-order The Hunger Games DVD at their local Blockbuster through August 15 will receive a free exclusive Hunger Games poster and be invited to attend a special release party at their local stores.
Attendees at Blockbuster will be treated to a special appearance by WHYI-FM, HUNGER GAMES survival food, a screening of the movie in store, trivia contests for prizes, a special Tribute mini-makeover and learn self-defense techniques for the arena.

ABOUT THE FILM
Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games.
