It was no doubt easier for Cinemark’s Movies 16 to offer a Best Films Fest when only five movies were eligible to be nominated for the Academy Award as Best Picture.This year’s Best Films Fest opens at 12:15 p.m.

Remastered print of 'Ben Hur' shown today on XD screen at Movies 16

Movies 16′s XD auditorium, with its wall-to-wall screen and improved sound system, may attract older age demographics for the first time today to see the delayed 50th anniversary print of “Ben Hur.”
