“The Little Mermaid” Signature Edition

A Walt Disney great The Little Mermaid returns to home video as a member of the Disney’s exclusive signature collection. Thirty years have gone by since the young mermaid entered the lives of children everywhere with a story that provides wonders, excitement, laughter and even warms the heart. Featuring one of Disney’s princess’s Ariel, the story is one of coming of age and exploring new worlds. The film received two Oscars for the music, Original Score that included songs like “Part of Your World” and Best Song “Under the Sea”. This special 50th Anniversary Edition joins only seven others that have been chosen thus far that display the seal of Walt Disney’s Signature “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pinocchio,” “Bambi,” “The Lion King”, “Peter Pan” and “Lady and the Tramp”. “The Grinch” Teen View

The amazing and heart touching story “The Grinch” or known as “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” was and is a wonderful and timeless story written by Dr. Seuss. If you watch basically any family channel in the prime time of the year, Christmas, you may have seen the original story of the Grinch and there have been 2 movies of the classic Grinch. “Incredibles” Stretches onto Home Video

One of the best animated films this year for the whole family, Incredibles 2 is now available on home video. Filled with adventure and comedy for the whole family, the movie continues where the characters left off in the original in 2004. “Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween” Boo!

Perfect for your brave goblins as a pre-Halloween treat the movie Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween takes center stage starting today. The mystery is loaded with adventure and comedy and is perfect for the whole family. However you may want to try and get tickets early for the day and time you want to go as most theaters should be packed with this film being the only PG available for kids.

That said, for the immature youngsters in the family, you may want to hold them close to you as there are some frightening costumers and spooky critters. The best bet would be to show them the trailer to be sure you won’t be spending some time in the theater lobby. Read more…

“The House with a Clock in Its Walls” Mysterious

Children’s fairy tales have taken a new drift with the film The House with a Clock in Its Walls. Packed with exciting action adventure the movie, based on the book by John Bellairs, envisions the story with an incredible amount of CGI. You could almost call the film Animated, but that’s a good thing here as things go bump in the night, magic forms the basis, and solving the mystery becomes the prominent focus for older youngsters. A Mom’s Point of View of “Incredibles 2”

It’s been 14 years since taking my two children to see PIXAR’s The Incredibles. I do remember my 4 and 8 year olds having a great time at the movie. So being with them at a special screening of Incredibles 2 was something even more special for me, because this time I was with my third child of 12-year-old that was added since the movie came out. Understood, she has seen the first movie on video several times, but this time she got to see the sequel on IMAX and each of them loved the comedy, heroic storyline and the cool animation. Read more…
