Review by John M. Delia, Jr.

Based on the original screen play of 1964, its sequel continues with the same style, but goes beyond the animation, imagination, and magical wonders that these characters provide. It continues where we left off back in the day and goes even further into the character’s lives with an amazing musical adventure. Read more…

Review by John Delia

Perfect for your brave goblins as a pre-Halloween treat the movie Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween takes center stage starting today. The mystery is loaded with adventure and comedy and is perfect for the whole family. However you may want to try and get tickets early for the day and time you want to go as most theaters should be packed with this film being the only PG available for kids.

That said, for the immature youngsters in the family, you may want to hold them close to you as there are some frightening costumers and spooky critters. The best bet would be to show them the trailer to be sure you won’t be spending some time in the theater lobby. Read more…

Children’s fairy tales have taken a new drift with the film The House with a Clock in Its Walls. Packed with exciting action adventure the movie, based on the book by John Bellairs, envisions the story with an incredible amount of CGI. You could almost call the film Animated, but that’s a good thing here as things go bump in the night, magic forms the basis, and solving the mystery becomes the prominent focus for older youngsters. Review by Susan Phillips

It’s been 14 years since taking my two children to see PIXAR’s The Incredibles. I do remember my 4 and 8 year olds having a great time at the movie. So being with them at a special screening of Incredibles 2 was something even more special for me, because this time I was with my third child of 12-year-old that was added since the movie came out. Understood, she has seen the first movie on video several times, but this time she got to see the sequel on IMAX and each of them loved the comedy, heroic storyline and the cool animation. Review by Ian Delia, Teen View

If you had the power to travel through the universe, would you do it? The Disney movie A Wrinkle in Time, now on Blu-ray/DVD, takes inter-dimensional travel to a higher level where this can happen. The film keeps you guessing through the whole hour and 49 minutes and that makes it interesting. The planet to which the characters are taken is in a different universe filled with bright vibrant colors. The amazing use of CGI pops the new world out of the screen giving a peaceful and positive perspective of that dimension. Disney has exceeded expectations with A Wrinkle in Time and the movie will give you the biggest rush of emotions all the way till the very end. Read more…
