“Dumbo” Flies onto Blu-ray

Walt Disney’s Dumbo, an animated hit that was released in 1941, got its live action screen debut this year on the big screen nearly 78 years later and it’s a winner. Now on Blu-ray and other media for the first time, the film brings all the adventure into your living room. Still with a good measure of CGI, Dumbo tells the same adventurous story, but with some new twists. The message plays out as clear as the original film showing that everyone may not be perfect, but has a place in the world. Read more…

“Cinderella” Dances Into Homes on Special Blu-ray

A Walt Disney childhood favorite Cinderella returns to home video as a member of the Disney’s exclusive signature collection. Nominated for three Academy Awards in 1950 including Best Original Song “Bibbidi-Bobbidi- Boo” the movie recently received another high honor of becoming inducted into the National Film Registry. The beloved animated film now becomes one of the few Walt Disney Signature Blu-ray Editions. This special 70th Anniversary Edition joins only eight others that have been chosen thus far that display the seal of Walt Disney’s Signature, “The Little Mermaid”, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pinocchio,” “Bambi,” “The Lion King”, “Peter Pan” and “Lady and the Tramp”. A Walt Disney great The Little Mermaid returns to home video as a member of the Disney’s exclusive signature collection. Thirty years have gone by since the young mermaid entered the lives of children everywhere with a story that provides wonders, excitement, laughter and even warms the heart. Featuring one of Disney’s princess’s Ariel, the story is one of coming of age and exploring new worlds. The film received two Oscars for the music, Original Score that included songs like “Part of Your World” and Best Song “Under the Sea”.
