Blu-ray Disc Association Considers 4K Discs

If CES was any indicator, UHDTVs are going to be big over the next few years, and that means there’s going to need to be 4K content to go along with them. The problem is trying to figure out just how to go about it, be it streaming, downloadable or disc based.

Dolby Introduces Dolby TrueHD Advanced 96K Upsampling for Blu-ray

When it comes to sound, it doesn’t get much better than Blu-ray. Or at least that’s what we thought before Dolby announced that they’re improving things even more. They’re going to be using TrueHD technology along with 96K upsampling to provide the best audio possible for the home environment.
