Last year’s Disney film Cinderella came out around the same time as this Friday’s release of Disney’s Zootopia. While Cinderella’s March release went on to make a massive amount of money for the mouse house, time will tell if an animated film directed to families will do the same. Certainly Zootopia has a good storyline with a message that it doesn’t matter who you are, you can make your dreams come true, “as long as you work hard to accomplish them”. With that in mind and an excellent voice cast too boot, the family film should start good out of the gate. Read more…

Cute, cuddly and totally tot entertainment Pop Star Minnie has arrived on DVD. The young child friendly episodes are perfect entertainment for the little ones and even older children can chime in on the songs. Just in time for Valentine’s Day the DVD includes an inflatable guitar. Read more…

This cute little film entertains youngsters and adults alike with its funny tale and slap-stick comedy. A spin-off from Despicable Me, the animated film Minions opens in theaters for a continuation of summer family fun. Much like The Penguins of Madagascar that had a nice run in 2008, the pill shaped Minions will make multi-millions. Read more…

“Big Hero 6” Oscar Winner Comes to Home Video (Video Review)

Academy Award winner for best Animated film Big Hero 6 has been released on Blu-ray in a Collector’s Edition combo pack. The adventure filled film won the award this past week two days before it was made available in stores. The Walt Disney Pictures film took a huge bite out of the box-office when it was in theaters this past November coming in 10th place in the US and reaching over $500 million worldwide. The Blu-ray also contains the Academy Award winning short “Feast” as one of its many bonus features. Read more…
